Bluetooth Adaptor

Stephan Jun 08, 2014 02:15AM PDT

Hello, I'm about to buy a G-Boom and would like to be able to play the music I have on iTunes on my desktop computer (Windows 7). I'm wondering if you have a list of compatibles Bluetooth Adaptors that will do just that?
Thank you in advance.

Hi Stephan!

All of our speakers, including the G-BOOM, use the standard Bluetooth protocol called A2DP. You would need to make sure that your computer supports it as well, which is not dependent on the OS as much as the make and model of your computer and whether it has Bluetooth built in and if so, what protocols it supports. If your Windows computer has Bluetooth with audio support, then any of our speakers should work with it.

1) Check to see if your Bluetooth drivers on your desktop computer are up to date.

(2) Have you been able to pair any other speakers to your desktop computer before?

(3) Easy way to check is if you have another device / speaker with Bluetooth, that you could try pairing to your desktop computer just to make sure that your Bluetooth working OK?

Hello, right now my PC does not have Bluetooth hence my question about which adaptor to get. So I guess I need to get one that supports A2DP. Anything else I should know?

Typically that should be all you need.
