G-Boom Charging

I just got this a few weeks ago and really like it, but all of the sudden it won't charge. I don't know if my adapter is bad or something is wrong with the unit. Now it's dead and won't turn on at all. I bought it May 17, 2014 at Wal Mart, it should be under warranty. What do I do?

Hi Ford!

I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing a charging problem with your G-BOOM. It's hard to say if it is the power adapter or the unit itself. Because the G-BOOM is a recent purchase we have two options, first we recommend the quickest and easiest option, which is an exchange at the store it was purchased.

For the second option, I can open a ticket and have a RA# and shipping instructions emailed to you so you can mail the defective G-BOOM back to us. Once we receive the unit and our engineers review the problem, they will either repair it or send you a replacement. This process takes longer as it involves shipping to and from as well as any repair time if necessary.

Please let me know what solution is easier for you. If you would like to ship the unit back to us, please send us a direct email as we will need to request personal contact information and do not want that to appear on this public thread.

I am not sure of the cost as I believe that they calculate the shipping cost into the price as well. If you contact any of the reps in our parts office, they would be able to give you a better idea. The office number is 855-896-1795 and they can be reached Monday - Friday from 8am - 5pm CST.
