Lost Bluetooth Connectivitity

Andy May 15, 2014 07:23AM PDT

When powered on, the speaker has a white light and a blue light. The blue light is now blinking (previously was solid) and won't connect to any bluetooth device. How can this be fixed?

Hi Andy!

I believe I just responded to your email, but just in case I will paste the reply hear as well.

Most of these pairing issues are a result of swapping Bluetooth sources before terminating the current connection. This sometimes causes G-GO to remain connected or paired to the previous audio device. That said, it sounds like the Bluetooth needs to be reset on your G-GO, as well as on your Bluetooth streaming device.

• To clear the Bluetooth memory on the G-GO, press and hold the Pairing button for 5 seconds. This will clear all Bluetooth settings and the blue LED light on the front of the unit should start flashing, indicating that G-GO is searching for a compatible Bluetooth device.

• Next you will want to go into the Bluetooth settings menu on your audio streaming device (and any other devices you may have connected to the G-GRIP previously) and delete / 'forget this device' from the list completely.

• Now with G-GO powered on, try searching for Bluetooth compatible devices under the Bluetooth settings menu of your audio streaming device. After a few seconds it should detect G-GO, at which time you can select G-GO and establish a new connection.

Please let me know if this solution helps. Thanks!

Hi,

I have the same problem with my G-GO. I soft reset already and it didn't work. The blue lights flashes for a bit and than becomes steady. When I hold the pair button for 5 seconds, the white light flashes at once and nothing else happen.

Hi Alex!
It sounds like you might have a device powered on that was previously connected with your G-GO when you powered the G-GO back on. Generally if reset correctly, the blue LED light on the G-GO should continue to blink until it has located a Bluetooth device and will change solid when connected and paired successfully.

Can you please confirm that you have reset or turned off any other devices that may have been paired with the G-GO and try the reset steps below again?

Please let me know if this corrects the problem,

Is the device and apple? I think apple has changed something, none of my apple devices can connect anymore but my droid still can. I have tried all the tips listed above and nothing works with the apple devices.

I dont believe there have been any recent Apple iOS updates that would cause connectivity issues. Can you confirm that your current Apple devices connect with other Bluetooth devices that your Android connects to as well?

Hi Wendy!

Sorry to hear you are having a connectivity problem with you G-GO. If you can send us a direct email I will be happy to open a ticket and see if we can get it exchanged for you. The reason I am asking you to send a direct email rather then continuing the process here is that we will need your contact info and we prefer that is not posted here in a public thread.
