Volume not loud enough even at maximum setting

Hello there,
I actually have two things to ask about. I love my G-Boom but have two weird things that are happening.
#1: The music sometimes fades in and out even if I am directly hooked up and not using the blue tooth setting.

#2: (The main problem) The volume just doesn't go up very high. I can have both my ipad or iphone turned to the maximum volume and the G-boom all the way up and it doesn't really get very loud. I am playing music at an event and I'd like it to be much much louder. I remember it being capable of much higher volumes when I first purchased the speaker last June when I got it.

Should I do something with the reset button? Many thanks for helping with this.

The instructions say to turn the volume up on the g-zip and I do not see a volume control. I have the device volume maxed and still not very loud. I just purchased the device and was wondering if it is a problem ?

Hi David!

I am sorry for the confusion as there was a misprint in the G-ZIP user guide. The statement instructing to turn up the volume on the G-ZIP was duplicated from the G-POP user guide which features the volume control on the unit, as well as Bluetooth connectivity.

We are in progress of making a running change to update the G-ZIP user guide on future shipments.

Hi, I just purchased my G BOOM about 2 months ago, and this is happening to me as well. It was $100, so I was hoping it would last longer than this before there were issues. I've been extremely careful with it, so I'm not sure why the volume is having an issue already.
