G-Drop bluetooth won't work.

Caleb Lander Aug 10, 2017 02:31PM PDT

G-Drop bluetooth wont connect, and the power button is not working, it will not shut off. When i plug auxiliary cord it works just fine. But it seems like the buttons have stopped working.

Hi!

Sorry to hear you are having a problem with your G-DROP. If you can send us a direct email (support@gprojectgear.com,) I will be happy to open a ticket and review some details to see if we can get it resolved for you.

The reason I am asking you to send a direct email rather then continuing the process here is that we will need your contact information and we prefer that information is not posted here in a public thread.

It will not charge. It will not work when it is plugged in. It is a dead speaker. I love it so much and I am really sad.😢

Hi Dayne,

We're sorry to hear that you are having a connectivity issue with your G-BOOM. We would be happy to help troubleshoot the problem with you.

Most of these pairing issues are a result of swapping Bluetooth sources before terminating the current connection. This can sometimes cause G-BOOM to remain connected or paired to the previous audio streaming device. That said, it sounds like the Bluetooth needs to be reset on your G-BOOM, as well as on your Bluetooth streaming device(s). Please follow the instructions below:

• First you will want to go into the Bluetooth settings menu on your audio streaming device (and any other devices you may have previously connected to your G-BOOM) and delete / 'forget this device' from the list completely.

• Next you will want to clear the Bluetooth memory on your G-BOOM, this can be done by pressing and holding the Pairing button for 5 seconds or until the blue LED starts blinking, indicating that G-BOOM is searching for a compatible Bluetooth device.

• Now with your Bluetooth streaming device and G-BOOM both powered on, try searching for Bluetooth compatible devices under the Bluetooth settings menu of your audio streaming device. After a few seconds it should detect G-BOOM, at which time you can select 'G-BOOM' and establish a new connection.
