My G-Pop will not connect with any of my Apple devices

Tom Del Corro Jul 06, 2015 02:38PM PDT

My G-Pop and G-Boom worked and connected to my Ipod and Iphone without problems for about six months, and now neither will connect at all to either Apple device. I bought each speaker device from Target in late 2014. I loved both speakers when they connected. I used my G-Pop when I bicycle, and I now use my G-Boom while doing outdoor chores, but I have to use a cable connector.
Thanks for your assistance.

Thank you for you post Tom and I'm sorry to hear you are having a connectivity problem with your G-POP and G-BOOM.

Most of these pairing issues are a result of swapping Bluetooth sources before terminating the current connection. This sometimes can cause your G-POP and/or G-BOOM to remain connected or paired to the previous audio streaming device. That said, it sounds like we need to reset the Bluetooth your G-POP and G-BOOM, as well as on your Bluetooth streaming device(s).

I have provided the steps below to reset your G-POP first while leaving your G-BOOM turned off for now. Once you complete the reset for your G-POP then try following the same steps to reset the Bluetooth on your G-BOOM.

• First you will want to go into the Bluetooth settings menu on your audio streaming device (and any other devices you may have connected to the G-POP previously) and delete / 'forget this device' from the list completely.

• Next you will want to clear the Bluetooth memory on your G-POP, this can be done by pressing and holding the Pairing button for 5 seconds. This will clear all Bluetooth settings and the blue LED light on the front of the unit should start flashing, indicating that G-POP is searching for a compatible Bluetooth device.

• Now with your Bluetooth streaming device and G-POP both powered on, try searching for Bluetooth compatible devices under the Bluetooth settings menu of your audio streaming device. After a few seconds it should detect G-POP, at which time you can select G-POP and establish a new connection.

Please let me know if this solution helps.
